On April 4, 2009, Zhao Xiaolin, Director of the European office of Magnesium center, participated in the seminar about the cooperation to European in science and technology presided by Prof. Pan Fusheng, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys. According to the status and characteristics of the world and the Chinese magnesium industry development under the financial crisis, and also combined with the application of the international conference to be held in Germany in October this year and the international conference of magnesium alloys held in Taiyuan in April, Zhao Xiaolin discussed with researchers of magnesium center about the important direction and the implementing regulations of the recently international cooperation with EU particularly in German. Through the discussion, they thought that the recent international cooperation of the center should further accelerate the concrete implementation with the magnesium center of German GKSS about the scientific and technological cooperation, to ensure the successfully completion of the international scientific cooperation projects with Germany, as well as to fully play the superior role of research center in the technology, to accelerate the pace of our magnesium products exported to Europe.
