On April 7, 2010Prof. Li Jiajun, director of Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Prof. Yang Xianjin, executive vice party secretary of Tianjin University, etc. five people, accompanied by Prof. Chen Demin, executive vice party secretary of Chongqing University, Prof. Pan Fusheng, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys and Prof. Liu Qing, dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Chongqing university, visited magnesium center. Prof. Pan Fusheng, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys, gave them a cordial reception firstly and introduced the magnesium industries in China and the current research of the center. He also pointed out that Tianjin city was the largest bicycle manufacturing base in China and an important area in the application of magnesium alloys. He hoped that both sizes strengthen the cooperation and exchanges and expand the applications of magnesium alloys in the bicycle field in Tianjin city. Li Jiajun also specifically mentioned in the discussion that there was a huge demand for light alloys and processing technology in Tianjin city, and hoped that cooperated with the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys in the areas of magnesium alloys in application of R&D and industry and achieved win-win situation for both sides. After the meeting, Li Jiajun, director of Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, etc. accompanied by Prof. Zhang Dingfei, vice director of the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys, visited the exhibiting room, experimental workshop and some testing equipment of our center.
