On September 29, 2016, Mr. Xiaojun Zhao (President), Mr. Junming Zhang (Vice President), and Mr. Yuanfu Zhou (Deputy Chief Engineer) et al. from Zhejiang Dunan Group Qixin Alloy Material Co., Ltd. visited CCMg to exchange and discuss on technical cooperation. Professor Fusheng Pan (Director of CCMg), Professor Yu Wang (Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Materials Science and Engineering), Professor Youqiang Hu (Deputy Director of Engineering Department), and Professor Dingfei Zhang (Executive Deputy Director of CCMg) took part in the reception.
Mr. Xiaojun Zhao and others firstly visited the exhibition hall to learn more about the wrought and cast magnesium alloy products developed by CCMg in recent years for applications in transportation, 3C, aerospace, and hand tools. At the subsequent meeting, Professor Yu Wang introduced the overall situation of College of Materials Science and Engineering to the guests. Professor Youqiang Hu introduced the advantages and characteristics of the Materials and Metallurgical disciplines of Chongqing University. He pointed out that Engineering Department always took strong emphasis on school-enterprise cooperation and hoped to effectively carry out in-depth cooperation. Professor Dingfei Zhang introduced the basic situation of CCMg in the past 5 years, including the newly developed magnesium alloys, preparation and processing technologies, and the industrial application of the products. Mr. Xiaojun Zhao highly appreciated the high-level research and development results achieved by CCMg. He introduced the current situation of Qixin Alloy Materials Co., Ltd., and the current challenges and confusions faced by the company in the technical field. They hoped to jointly promote the industrial application of new magnesium alloy materials and new technologies through combining the technical advantages of CCMg and economic advantages of the enterprise. Finally, Prof. Fusheng Pan and President Xiaojun Zhao discussed the next-step cooperation between CCMg and Zhejiang Dunan Group in depth.
